Should I color my hair before or after the smoothing treatment?<\/strong>
We recommend coloring your hair at least one week before the smoothing treatment, so the color won\u2019t bleed during the process. Alternatively, you can color your hair after the treatment, as long as it\u2019s ammonia-free and done at least a week later to avoid reopening the cuticles.<\/p>\n

Can I do a smoothing treatment on highlighted or colored hair?<\/strong>
Absolutely. smoothing is designed to care for all hair types, and it\u2019s perfectly suitable for highlighted, colored, or bleached hair that also needs strength, vitality, and nourishment.<\/p>\n

My hair is very damaged \u2014 will the smoothing treatment make it worse?<\/strong>
Not at all. Our smoothing treatment gently softens the hair while replenishing lost nutrients. Its goal is to nourish the hair while straightening, so it won\u2019t cause damage.<\/p>\n

Will I ruin my hair?<\/strong>
A restorative treatment never damages the hair. Lissage is created to breathe life back into your hair, helping it regenerate.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the difference between smoothing, botox, and cauterization?<\/strong>
All three are treatments that nourish, repair, and soften the hair fiber. However, sLissage straightens up to 100%, botox up to 50%, and cauterization up to 25%, thanks to the targeted application of keratin that rebuilds the hair fiber.<\/p>\n

Which treatment is the most intensive?<\/strong>

Can I do a botox treatment even if I\u2019ve never done a smoothing treatment?<\/strong>
Of course. Botox can be done on its own to achieve up to 50% smoothing, or 6\u20138 weeks after a smoothing treatment to eliminate frizz caused by regrowth. It also brings shine and repair.<\/p>\n

Can I do a cauterization treatment without having done a smoothing first?<\/strong>

If maintained with the recommended post-treatment products, Lissage lasts 3 to 6 months, and botox lasts 2 to 4 months.<\/p>\n

Can I get a smoothing treatment before going to the beach?<\/strong>
Yes, no problem! Just protect your hair with a leave-in cream or protective oil like BBoil.<\/p>\n

How can I protect my smoothing treatment if I exercise or swim often?<\/strong>

Can I do a smoothing treatment while pregnant?<\/strong>

Can I get a haircut at AnS?<\/strong>
At AnS La Maison (Rome), we offer cuts, styling, and color services. At AnS Showroom (Paris), we provide AnS treatments only, with the option to add a haircut as an extra service.<\/p>\n

Do I need to wash my hair before the appointment?<\/strong>
